about
This piece of music was created as a direct result from a period of research in how to record and produce music in real-time while being remotely separated from the musician/performer.
All the audio in this track was performed in a separate location from me and streamed directly to my computer with a latency of 0.2s in full lossless audio quality (48kHz 24Bit Wav). I then combined the individual performances to create the final piece.
Special thanks to everybody that helped me with this research project: Ben Brown, Andrés Ramos, Sören Müller and Stefan Pötzsch
This period of research was made possible with a scholarship from the Kulturstiftung des Freistaates Sachsen.
